Xiaomi launched Mi Pad 4 Plus, an Android tablet. It is the plus version of a predecessor that shares the almost same hardware features with some upgrades especially in battery and display department. Company launches it especially to give tough competition to Apple iPad.

In terms of design, both tablets feature front glass with an aluminum body. When you take a glimpse of both devices it is hard to differentiate as Mi Pad 4 Plus looks much like iPad and from behind it looks an over-sized Mi Max 2.
Mi Pad 4 comes with a dimension of 245.6 x 149.08 x 7.99mm on the other hand iPad 9.7 measures 240 x 169.5 x 7.5 mm.
iPad 9.7 features a front mounted fingerprint sensor and Stylus pen while Xiaomi only reached to the fingerprint sensor. There is no Stylus with new Mi Pad.
In terms of color availability then Xiaomi launch the new tab in two colors which are Gold and Black. Apple has more color option for you namely Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.
Mi Pad 4 Plus and iPad 9.7 both features IPS LCD panel. Talking about screen size then as name clears iPad has a 9.7-inch screen that has a 71.6% screen-to-body ratio.
On the other side, Mi Pad 4 Plus comes with a screen size of 10.1 inches. It has 77.1 screen-to-body-ratio.
Mi Pad comes with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution with 224 pixels per inch density.
iPad 9.7 features 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution with 264 pixels per inch density. Here it is very clear that iPad 9.7 has better display specs.
Tablets generally don’t feature a good camera and the reason is simple those who are buying tablet rarely use their tablets to click photos.
But if you want a good camera in your tablet the both will not disappoint you. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is loaded with 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. iPad 9.7 has 8 MP primary camera.

iPad 9.7 is powered with Apple’s A10 Fusion chipset coupled with PowerVR Series 7XT Plus GPU. Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of core numbers, both come with 6 core and 8 core respectively.
iPad 9.7 runs on iOS 11.3. On the other side, Mi tablet features Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9.0 skin. If you pick iPad then you have two memory option 32 GB and 128 GB both coupled with 2 GB RAM.
Coming to Xiaomi then it gives you more flexibility. If you pick its WI-Fi model only then, it comes with 64 GB onboard storage and 4 GB RAM. While its Wi-Fi/LTE model comes with 128 GB onboard storage with 4 GB RAM.
When you are buying a tablet then obviously you don’t want a device that you need to charge frequently. To ensure you don’t need to charge your battery, again and again, both company offers powerful battery.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus offers 8,620 mAh non-removable battery with fast battery charging. Here Apple iPad again wins as it packs with Li-Po 8827 mAh non-removable battery but doesn’t feature fast battery charging technology.
Currently Mi Pad 4 Plus has available in China with a price tag of CNY 1899 which in Indian currency is Rs. 19,269 approximately. This is the price for its 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant. For its 4 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM you need spend CYNY 2099 that is roughly Rs. 21,313.
Talking about Apple iPad 9.7 then obviously it is costly. You can buy at with the starting price of Rs. 28,000.
